Stainless steel pastry scraper-handy for scraping, crushing, cutting veggies and also dividing dough wheat flour dough into small portions.
Cookie cutters - These small and medium cookie cutters can be used on fruits as well as cookie dough. Their use is limited only by imagination.
Twin blade stainless steel mincer - Excellant to chop and mince herbs, leafy veggies like palak, methi , cabbage. It is a pleasure to handle this.
Stainless steel perforated colander - comes in various sizes and can be used to rinse veggie and drain water. Also good for steam cooking. Comes with lid. 
Colander - Finds multiple uses for cleaning the vegetables and in steamer applications. I use this almost 365 days a year.

Peeler - An essential tool to have in the kitchen for peeling veggies quickly and with minimum wastage. 
Measurement spoons - Universal and necessary for getting those perfect dishes.
This container has marks in metric on one side. Very useful for measuring rice, water etc in right proportions for beginners.
Useful for mixing of dry dahls . It is a pleasure to see colours of udad , masur, moong and tuvar dahls. 
The tumbler on the left side is approx. 150 ml and the right side is 250 ml. It is very often used  as standard unit measures .

This light weight coated stirrer can be used for mixing batter for dosas or other liquids in cold conditions. The particles do not stick to the wires. Just a few shakes will do the trick.  
The king of all knives. This Japanese Vanadium Chromium flexible global knife is a pride possession . To be sharpened with a good sharpener. 
Coconut hand scraper. Reduces wastages in removing the uncleared portions of coconut shredding . Mixed with a little sugar the taste is to be experienced.
Single toothed stainless steel Cheese knife. It has the cutting edge along the curve . Used for slicing cheese . Usefel in picking fruits / vegetables. Use restricted by imagination.
Water melon scooper . Can also be used for de-seeding karela and the likes with ease. Has a circular cutting edge. I am also using it for scooping out the contents of a tomato. Pleasure to work with.

This circular steel wiremesh is useful in many ways like removing fried items effortlessly without getting panic. I am also using this for separating phalak , methi leaves from soaked water after cleaning. Available for around Rs 70.
This filter can be used for removing impurities from jaggery syrup  and the like. Retains very fine particles like clay and other harmful sediments. I always keep this within my arms reach in the kitchen.
This serrated roller has many applications limited by imagination. I basically use this for making good looking serrated chapattis for the guests. The edges turn crispy since they are thinned out at the edges.
This wooden spatula is to be used  with coated  vessels and preferably should not be polished and  varnished. It is very convenient to handle . Several shapes are available and can be selected as per choice.
Do not under estimate tooth pick’s use. I use it for de-seeding and also as a pick up for bits of fruits. These tooth picks do a wonderful job.

 Knives are to be kept  sharp . Various types of sharpeners are available. I like this one from IKEA Finland.
Rolling pins come in various sizes and shapes. It is better to have the one made from maple wood as they last long and are smooth. 
 Vanadium Molybdenum stainless steel knife are very good to work with . The particles do not stick to the knife . Last long.
 Oil stone also called lapping stone. Can be used as a   knife trimmer with a drop of oil. To be used carefully and slowly for good results.
Crochet needle is convenient in de-seeding Green Chillies , Shimla Mirch , water melon etc. Limited by imagination.

Hand held Pestle and Kitchen Mortar used for crushing spices like cardamom . A multi purpose useful gadget. The one which I am having is Olive Wood Pestle and Mortar.
This type of  heavy duty scissors can be used for finely chopping coriander, curry leaves, green chillies etc with ease. 
This wooden masher comes in various qualities and various materials. You can get the one with rose wood for less than Rs 150. I am using this for mashing Potatoes and for pressing Chapaties. 
This trimming scissors is very handy and can be used for cutting methi leaves, coriander leaves, opening postage envelopes etc for daily use. It is safe and available for less than Rs 15 in tailoring materials shop.
Timer is a very important gadget for the starters as well as the experienced.  I use this regularly during multi tasking when more than one dish are to be prepared for the guests. Allowing sufficient time to cool off is essential for the items to get cooked properly.

Serrated knife is an essential knife in every day use in the kitchen. 
This fine filter can be used as filter for paneer and also as a sieve for obtaining very fine powders as the one used for Modak. 
Very versatile hot keepers. After removing the fried items with circular wire mesh GRN 016 , the items can be kept over this to drain out any excess oil. I like this. 
The Stainless Steel Grater is versatile for grating needs. While cleaning use water from tap for a while. For wiping proceed from broader side to narrow side using a larger cloth.
Basting Brush - Non Absorbent bristles spread the liquids. Silicone head is heat resistant and durable. You can detach the Silicone brush from handle. I use this regularly.

The chapati keeper is very useful for retaining the Tandori or dry roties, fresh and  hygienic. 
The chapati keeper is closed when not in use.
The Bamboo Spice rack is available in various forms. You have to purchase any one good looking and functional rack made of Bamboo or steel or aluminium and then select the plastic containers to store the spices. Very useful and handy.
S_Hooks are available in selected  department stores. You have to look for them, regularly. The Flat s-hook is a good choice, as it will have a good support to hold the gadgets. All are available in India. Select only stainless steel  materials.
